Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Let's walk again this year, for a tremendous cause and for the opportunity to stay connected and to be together in our love for Stephanie.

Stephanie created Team Steph in 2019, 5 months after she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at 43 years old. Steph was a brilliant problem solver and she took this diagnosis on.  Steph read, she researched, she established connections, she coordinated and then re-coordinated, she experimented, she advocated, she continued to participate fully in all of life amidst the most difficult treatments.  She taught everyone she met about resilience, gratitude, courage, humility, grace and love.

Steph had an unconditional network of love around her, including her husband, her two children, her family, friends, her doctors and healers. PanCAN gave her an even bigger network.

Stephanie passed away in November 2021, 3 years from her diagnosis with pancreatic cancer.  She beat odds and smashed down obstacles. By every definition, Steph is a hero.  No one is more proud of her than we are.

Steph spoke at the virtual Opening Ceremony of Purple Stride NYC in 2021. As always, she spoke from the heart, and she was moving, relatable, and empowering.  Each day is long and extremely effortful without Stephanie. Team Steph will continue to participate in Purple Stride with the hope that we can help make strides in this disease, continue to improve outcome and treatment course, continue to provide patients (and their support systems) with a place they can go to help navigate this road.
