Hey, there!

We're taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

Grandson Riley was only a young child when his Grandpa Tom passed away eleven years ago and, yet, he has many vivid memories from that formative period. Tom was able to continue making beautiful memories with his grandson and family and friends far and near even while undergoing therapy.  His commitment to live fully with therapy never waivered to the very end.

Now, as a high school sophomore, Riley wanted to commemorate this anniversary by raising money for research against this stealth disease that is pancreatic cancer. So, we've set up Tom's Trekkers to raise money for pancreatic cancer awareness and research so the survival rate will continue to rise.  The 5-year survival rate was at an abysmal low of under 5% eleven years ago; now, PanCan reported it has reached 13%. It's progress, but still too low.  Let's help achieve the progress we all want to see.

We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients and their families – and we need your help to do that!

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.
