Team Edge is raising money in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network by participating in this year’s PurpleStride fundraising event on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

Our organization (The Edgerton.Life Pancreatic Cancer Foundation) was founded to continue the legacy and the fight of our lost Friend, Brother, Warrior, Son; Andrew F. Edgerton.

For two years, Andy devoted himself to educating others about pancreatic cancer by shining the spotlight on his own story. In October 2017, just 16 hours from his 40th birthday, Andy passed away. Andy was diagnosed with stage 4 in November 2015 and was given just months to live, he fought relentlessly for nearly 2 years.

Andy lived out loud. His light and love knew no bounds. He was a force of nature that stood out. Whether advocating for others, offering advice, or simply being a friend, he navigated his entire life by waging hope and demanding better. We must continue Andy’s fight to wage war against this horrific cancer by raising awareness and funding to aid in its detection, treatment, research, and CURE.

For perspective..., the two drugs, including chemo, that I was using were discovered through clinical trials funded by people like YOU.
