On January 12, 2019,  my family lost my mom, Irena Butts, to Pancreatic Cancer.  My mom was a loving wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma who loved to be surrounded by the people she loved.  She was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer with metastasis to the lungs and liver just 16 hours before she passed.  We as a family were completely blindsided with this diagnosis.  We knew she wasn't feeling well but we all just assumed she had the flu or something.  There is no way we could prepare ourselves for the diagnosis that we received.  My mom had just had a check up with her primary doctor just 3 months prior to her passing and nothing was detected!  She never complained of pain or any other symptom.  My family and I have decided to donate to this cause because there needs to be tests for early detection and a cure needs to be found.  Please help us raise money so no other family has to go through what my family is.  Thank you!
