  • On April 27, 2024, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will take steps together at nearly 60 PurpleStride events across the nation to honor everyone affected by the disease. It's an inspirational day to celebrate survivors, honor those we lost and turn the nation purple!​

    • Team Jan King is raising money in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network by participating in the 2024 PurpleStrideKC in memory of my Aunt Jan. My Aunt Jan was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2004 and died from this brutal disease after a 15-month battle.

    The five-year survival rate for pancreatic cancer has increased to 13%, up for a third year in a row. A decade ago, the five-year survival rate was only 6%. It's amazing progress more than doubling the 5-year survival rate but 13% percent is just not enough.

      On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

      PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
