Thank you for supporting my PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser! 

My team and I have supported PanCAN by walking in the event a few times in previous years! 

This was supposed to be my very 1st and very personal official solo 5K Run! I've always wanted to participate in a 5K run but, never had the courage to actual sign up and commit to a run. What better way to accomplish a goal, overcome a challenge and honor all who are fighting, lost the fight or have fought Pancreatic Cancer. 

Event day is April 27th, which would have been my Dad & Mom's 56th Wedding Anniversary and is my sister's 53rd Birthday (who fought breast cancer)! 

Past Purple Stride events used to be a “Walk or Run” event!

Unfortunately, they changed it this year to solely a walk event. I’m pretty bummed about not being able to accomplish a 5k run but, walking for an amazing cause is just as rewarding as accomplishing a run goal!

My dearest loving jokester of a dad lost his battle with Pancreatic Cancer and a very dear and blessed friend is a "Survivor" of Pancreatic Cancer. Two every heroic humans who fought two very different battles with one huge supporting community PANCAN!!
