This is why we hope you'll donate and join our Lorry Crushes Cancer team!
Lorry Naccarato found out she had Stage 4 Pancreatic cancer in early November 2023. This news came just as she was transitioning from housing and caring for her mother, Irene, and her brother, Marty, for almost 4 years, and looking forward to spending a lot more time with her kids and grandkids.
Since her diagnosis, Lorry has relied on her deep faith in God, her husband, John, her children, John and Gina, her mother and five siblings, along with many close friends for support and prayers. She has also relied on the expertise of her oncology team at UC Health to design treatment plans that are delivering positive results.
We know that there are a lot of fundraisers out there that ask for your financial support. But one thing we know for sure about PanCAN and the research the organization helps fund is that new treatment options are extending lives, which is why we are asking for your support.
We’re taking steps at the ultimate to walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024.
PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.
Here’s where you come in!
We’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make – and would be profoundly grateful for your donation. A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
