Garrett "Biscuit" Davis Jr. was diagnosed with Stage 3 Pancreatic Cancer on November 8, 2018. As we all tried to understand how and why this happened it was a major blow to our family. While trying to process all of this on November 26, 2018 he was Re-staged to Stage 4.  Again, we were trying to process through this with learning that his conditioned had now changed and options that were once available can no longer be considered. Nothing can describe the emotions we all had at this time in our lives. Our lives had forever changed and we had to adjust to our new normal. However, my dad was a man of faith and through prayers and a positive mental state he survived 13 months and 13 days!!! On January 13, 2020 we lost our beloved VILLAGE CHIEF...

He had the support of his family, friends, and the Skip Viragh Center for Pancreatic Cancer at Johns Hopkins Medicine. Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 10%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
