Welcome to our team fundraising page!

We lost our Dad to pancreatic cancer December 21, 2018.  Paul lived a healthy lifestyle and was the picture of good health until he started experiencing stomach pains. He was working with a team of doctors to diagnose his symptoms when he was admitted to the hospital for dehydration. He was diagnosed a few days later with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer.  My Dad passed away 3 days later surrounded by his family.

Pancreatic cancer is often diagnosed at an advanced stage. 64,000 Americans will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this year.  The 5-year survival rate for pancreatic cancer patients has increased over the past decade from 6% to 12%.

To honor our Dad's memory and to raise awareness of this horrific cancer, we are walking as PAUL'S POSSE at PurpleStride on 4/29/23, the walk to end pancreatic cancer.

Will you support us by making a donation today?

Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to PAUL'S POSSE, you are supporting vital efforts to improve the survival rate of pancreatic cancer.

Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today.

With deep appreciation,

Tompkins Family: Gail Tompkins, Beth (Tompkins) Mehta, Stephen Tompkins, and Susan (Tompkins) Smith
