Dear Friends and Family,

2024 marks the 11th year that Team Poppy is supporting Purple Stride and 10 years since we lost our grandfather. 

Team Poppy honors our grandfather, Albert D. Maslia, who passed away in April of 2014, and raises money in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. With the support of so many, over the past 11 years, Team Poppy has raised more than $90,000 towards the fight against pancreatic cancer, and we’re already off to a great start this year. In fact, we now have a second Team Poppy in NYC as well! Thank you to those who have supported us over the years. 

For 2024, we have set a fundraising goal of $10,000 to honor our Poppy. With everyone's help and support, we can continue to further the amazing strides already made in pancreatic cancer research. So, we hope you will consider helping our team reach our 2024 goal.

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
