Welcome to Pete’s Platoon’s PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!

Peter’s fight has shown us just how little about pancreatic cancer is understood.  The PanCAN website was a place to find information, understanding, support and stories of hope. The information and articles contained on the site prompted informed questioning of Peter’s doctors, things for us to think about and discussions between he and I about his disease which led to tears and even laughter at times.  Finding a source of information you can trust while in the eye of the storm was so critical.  PanCAN was invaluable to me and I want to honor their mission and Peter’s fight by partcipating in their fundraising effort. 

Peter’s children and I have started a team and our team wants to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need you to do it!

We’re taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

This walk will raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

We’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make – and would be profoundly grateful for your donation. A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
