Hello friends and family, 

My team and I are taking steps to end pancreatic cancer on Saturday, April 6th, 2024 at Crunch Brockton for the Party in Purple Zumbathon and the PanCAN Purplestride Walk on Saturday, April 27, 2024 in Boston, MA. We are honoring the life and memory of our late beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend, Frantz “John” Delva and other families affected. Please join our team “Delva Forever” and/or donate to this cause. Any and every donation brings us closer to ending this terrible disease! 

Here's a bit of my story:

My father was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer in January 2021 and a year after his diagnosis, he passed in January 2022. During this time, he went through 11 rounds of chemotherapy and spent countless days and nights in and out of the hospital. As his health continued to decline, I firmly stood by his side. Life as we both knew it completely changed. I leaned heavily on my community at Crunch Brockton and close friends for emotional support. I naturally experienced much frustration in my father's prognosis but experienced even more frustration in the limited resources and overall hope for pancreatic cancer patients. Unfortunately, I stumbled upon PanCAN in my father's last days but see GREAT value in raising awareness for others. I have made supporting PanCAN a personal initiative and through sharing my story, have met many other families impacted by this gruesome cancer.
