In the spring of 2019, our family received the devastating news of a pancreatic cancer diagnosis for our beloved daddy and PawPaw, John Vinson. He fought for us bravely for 18 months before meeting his Savior in December of 2020. 

He was the best daddy, kindest husband to Terry, beloved PawPaw to his grandchildren. His love for Jesus and others is still remembered daily by all who knew him. It has been a profound loss, but  we’re so grateful for his legacy. 

Lilly and Meredith recently decided they wanted to participate in a walk for pancreatic cancer in honor of their PawPaw. So here we are! We’re taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.
