Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 12%.This survival rate has doubled since we lost our beloved Jimbo Kotti. This shows that we are making improvements in the survival rate. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination. Jim Kotti was so strong and positive throughout his fight to beat this terrible disease. Jim fought the cancer for 2.5 years after being diagnosed at stage 3. His courageous fight and participation in a clinical trial will help others to conquer this aggressive cancer. We will continue the fight in memory of our beloved Jimbo Kotti.
So far in the last 6 years that we have been walking to end Pancreatic Cancer, the Jimbo Kotti team has raised $12,811.76. The Jimbo Kotti team was ranked number 28 out of 140 teams in the Charlotte Purple Stride in 2023 thanks to your generous donations.
I’ve stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help me rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you give ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join me in the fight today.
