Over the last ten years, our family has lost two remarkable men to pancreatic cancer. In 2014 when we lost John, the 5-year survival rate sat at 5%. Although we have seen steady growth in scientific research, pancreatic cancer still has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 13%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and for many of us our close family and friends.
