Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Our team wants to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need you to do it!

Our mother Cecilia Saadeh was born on April 27, 1939, in Anton, Republic of Panama.

Cecilia was a fierce and strong woman who held fast to her beliefs, defended those she loved, and always sought to better herself. She had a deep love of gardening and creating a welcoming and loving home. You would always find her shopping at her favorite stores like Ross, TJ Maxx, At Home and Bealls. Cecilia enjoyed looking for new decorations for the house or searching for a new plant or flower at Lowes or Home Depot. Cecilia's favorite bird was the Cardinal and her most recent favorite flower was the Sunflower. Cecilia took pride in her appearance and was always well-dressed wearing her earrings, necklace, bracelets, and natural makeup.

Ultimately, our mother was able to find peace and gained her angel wings on October 10th, 2023.

We will miss Cecilia dearly, but we are so grateful for the time we had to spend with her. We will always feel her presence in our hearts.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
