We could walk a million miles, and it would still only represent a fraction of the impact Bill Langlois has had on the cancer community. 

On April 27, we'll walk in honor of all of the miles he's pedaled, all of the platelets he's shared, all of the dollars he's raised, and all of the ways he's spent a lifetime pushing others up their own hills. We'll walk, and we'll fundraise, and we'll do our very best to make sure he feels the love as he faces his own battle with Pancreatic Caner – and we need you to do it!

In 1984, the year Bill first saddled up for 192 miles biking across the state of Massachusetts in support of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, the five year survival rate for pancreatic cancer was a dismal 3%. While pancreatic cancer remains one of the most terrifying diagnoses a patient can face, 5-year survival rates today are five-times higher thanks to the research made possible through fundraisers like this. 

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.
