Welcome to Our PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!

As some of you may be aware, my Dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer about 2.5 years ago. He did very aggressive chemo and radiation right away, followed by an experimental NanoKnife procedure where they electrocute the tumor. Following that, he was No Evidence of Disease for about 10 months. This past fall, a CT scan showed the tumor was growing, so he started weekly chemo infusions along with an experimental drug. It's keeping the tumor at bay, but not removing it completely. Your support would mean a lot to me, my family and my Dad. You don't have to give much, you can join my team without donating and without participating in the walk, so whatever level of support you can give would be appreciated.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
