Welcome to Our PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!

Thirteen years ago, we lost Saeid Farid, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Since his passing, our family has participated in this event to raise money/awareness to this silent killer. Although pancreatic cancer accounts for 3% of new cancer diagnoses, it accounts for 8% of cancer deaths and is fourth leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S. in both men and women (CDC.gov). Please join our team to raise awareness and to one day eradicate pancreatic cancer for good!

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
