Dear Family and Friends,

One year ago today, I had surgery where they removed over half my pancreas and my entire spleen.  I'm so happy to share that my most recent scan this week still shows no signs of cancer. Pancreatic Cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers so I try to live each day with a heart full of GRATITUDE for the precious GIFT of LIFE God has given me. 

I invite you to CELEBRATE with me by walking to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 27, 2024, or completing an honorary walk for me in your hometown.  Don’t forget to wear purple!

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
