Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Tybre Faw is an exceptional 16-year-old student-athlete who studies at Science Hill High School located in Johnson City, TN. Tybre’s impact extends far beyond sports as he is also a passionate activist who strives to bring positive change in the world. He is a National Student Ambassador for the 400 Years of African American History Commission and a Student Advisor for the John Lewis Legacy Institute.

In 2018, Tybre had the privilege of meeting Congressman John Lewis, a legendary civil rights icon, in Selma, Alabama. The encounter sparked a deep bond between the two and Lewis soon became Tybre’s mentor. Unfortunately, Tybre’s world was shattered by the loss of his hero due to pancreatic cancer in 2020.

Tybre is now determined to include pancreatic cancer research as part of his platform and raise national awareness about the disease that is affecting so many people worldwide.
