Our beautiful mom, Sandra, was first diagnosed in January 2019 and passed away March 2019, just over 2 months after diagnosis.  It has been just over 5 years and we miss her every day.  Losing her is the worst experience of our lives.  She was and still is a huge part of our lives.  Our mom was the most generous and genuine person I have ever known. She was the type of person that would quite literally give you the clothes and/or jewelry off of her back! For those of you who knew her well, you know what I mean! 

We raise money in her name because we want others to have hope and not lose their loved ones to this awful cancer. Our team name comes from one of our favorite quote of hers, here's the backstory: Our mom was very active and loved the outdoors, crafting, biking, dancing. Many times, us 'kids' would be laying around being lazy, which drove our mom crazy!!  She would say "Come on kids, let's do something for life!" , which would make us laugh hearing her say it because her English had a noticeable Spanish accent.
