Almost 10 years ago, we lost a wife, mom, Nana, and amazing human, Carole Sytsma, to Pancreatic Cancer. We have been doing this 5k run/walk and raising money for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in her honor each year since. We would love for you to join us on April 27th in downtown Denver (Tivoli Quad on the Auraria campus) at 9am and walk or run with us to fight Pancreatic Cancer as part of team Carole's Butterflies. And if you are unable to join us, no worries! If you are in a position where you are able to contribute a donation (no matter how small), that would be deeply appreciated as well!! Pancreatic cancer survival rate has moved to double digits (13%) and there is currently research ongoing to try to discover methods for early detection.
