Almost 10 years ago, Pancreatic Cancer took my Dad from me. He was and still is one of the greatest guys. My Dad's cancer journey was a short and quick one, just 6 weeks from diagnosis to his passing. There was no time to really be given the chance to fight. We've also lost other great family friends to this terrible disease. Because of this, we walk every year to help raise awareness and for the hope that no one else has to face these losses. I'd give anything to have my Dad here with me again, but since that can't happen, I'll walk in his memory always.

This year I'll also walk in honor of my Uncle Jake who is fighting this terrible disease.
