Our team, the Spirit of Ellen, is raising money in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network by participating in Purple Stride in Washington, DC..The American Cancer Society's research shows that pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of death behind lung and colorectal cancer in both men and women. The list is far too long --  Alex Tribeck, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Steve Jobs, Aretha Franklin, Lucianno Pavarotti, Alan Rickman, Sally Ride, Patrick Swayze and so many more including my mother who fought for over 4 years to the amazement of her doctors.
