Our team is fueled by a deeply personal mission to make a profound impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need your help to make it happen!

As you may already know, my mother, Carolyn Polite, is courageously battling pancreatic cancer. Diagnosed on 12/1 of last year, she's been receiving exceptional care from the compassionate team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Carolyn, who recently retired; finds solace in walking and cherishes every moment with her family. As a mother of 4 and a grandmother of 3, her strength and resilience inspire us every day.

This journey has been emotionally challenging, yet it's brought our family closer together. We've leaned on each other for support, finding moments of joy amidst the difficulties. Your support means the world to us, as it not only helps those battling this disease but also uplifts our spirits during this challenging time.

We're preparing for the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, happening on Saturday, April 27, 2024. PurpleStride is more than a walk; it's a beacon of hope, driving vital research for new treatments and providing personalized support through PanCAN Patient Services.
