We’re taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

Our team is fundraising in memory of Maria Ortiz. She was a beautiful and generous soul who loved everyone and whos smile lit up the room. Maria had an energy that instantly made you feel safe. To know her was to love her. Unfortunately, after a 3 year battle with Pancreatic Cancer, Maria passed away surrounded by loved ones on November 18, 2022. Her strength and courage is something we will never forget. We miss her dearly and hope that by doing this, we are making her proud and keeping her memory alive. 

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.
