On April 27th I participated in the PanCAN PurpleStride in NYC, with my Truro Turtles team. PanCAN is working to end pancreatic cancer. It was a great day with close to $1million raised in NYC alone, and 60 other PurpleStride events happening around the Country on the same day. Several survivors were at the event, which was amazing and provided great hope. 

However, there is SO much work yet to be done for early detection and other treatments and to work to eradicate pancreatic cancer.

While the event is over, fundraising is open through June 30th. So, if you are able, please consider making a donation. No donation is too small. Every amount truly does help.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
