Sharon was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer just after Christmas 2016. Surgery nor radiation were options, but she received aggressive chemotherapy treatments and fought for more than a year before passing away in late January 2018. 

Sharon was an amazing wife, mother to 2 daughters, Nana to 3 grandsons, sister, friend to many, and teacher to countless students.

Her family and friends are Team #SharonStrong!  We carry on her fight in her memory for earlier diagnosis, more effective treatment options and, most importantly, a cure for pancreatic cancer.
