Welcome to Our PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!

Our mother, Laila, was the best of us. She led her life with faith, courage and immense kindness. When she was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in April 2022— she continued to lead by example, carrying her own family through an immensely difficult diagnosis, and showing us, her daughters—the kind of woman we aspire to be. 

Our mother left us in August 2023– and even towards the end, she continued to show us that life is lived in moments— and love and faith leads the way, always. 

We are aiming to raise money for the PanCan purple stride walk towards supporting research endeavors into new therapies to fight pancreatic cancer. 

Our sister, Rahma, will represent us in the purple stride walk on the 27th of April in Washington DC in the memory of our mother, Laila. 

We appreciate every support you can give to help patients and their families take this journey on. We know our mother would have done the same.
