On January 31st, 2019 Susan's battle with pancreatic cancer came to an end. She lived for two and a half years after her diagnosis and felt grateful to have that much time and to feel as good as she did. 

Please join us in walking and fundraising to find a cure for this horrible disease. Pancreatic Cancer is one of the most deadly of all cancers. A five-year survival rate of 12% is harrowing (although this number has increased from 9% in the last five years), and many people diagnosed with Stage 4 live only a few weeks or months. Your donation funds vital Pancreatic Cancer research and provides services for patients and their families. 

In 2018, it meant so much to Susan to have friends and family walk with her and donate so that future pancreatic cancer patients may have more treatment options and live longer lives. 2023 will be our 5th year of participation in PurpleStride. Each year, we manage to surpass our fundraising goal thanks to our generous friends and family. Let's make this year our best yet!
