A note from our captain, Shannon:

My mom, Terry, was diagnosed in January of 2020 with pancreatic cancer and bravely endured treatment for a little over two years until we had to say goodbye on March 13, 2022.

I am still trying to figure out life without her; she was my biggest support system and one of my absolute favorite people in the whole world. 

This walk and fundraiser is one small step in honoring her memory and trying to make some meaning of her death.  

Resources and research this walk fund will help families like mine who have to hear this devastating diagnosis, and hopefully prevent others from experiencing it.
