Our team wants to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need you to do it!

We’re taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

For those of you that don't know our story, our father was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in December of 2017.  We knew that we would be ringing in the New Year prepared for the ultimate fight of our lives.

During his treatments our father was asked to participate in a study to see the correlation between Ashkenazi Jews and the BRCA gene.  Not knowing if he was a carrier or not he agreed.  He ended up testing positive for BRCA 2.  My sister and I immediately were tested and both tested positive for BRCA 2 as well.  While our father continued his treatments for Pancreatic Cancer we both had double mastectomy's and oophorectomy's to reduce our risks of getting any of the cancer's in connection with the BRCA gene.  While we could not ultimately save our fathers life, he literally saved ours.

We are walking in honor of our Father, Larry Wolf and Grandfathers, Harry Reiner and Moe Menachem. This horribile disease has affected our family not once, not twice, but three times.  Thats three times too many.  As BRCA Carriers we are devoted to helping find ways to fight pancreatic cancer to better the outcome for our family and other patients alike.
