After Michael's pancreatic cancer diagnosis in November 2022, we knew we wanted to do more to help end pancreatic cancer. Michael's diagnosis was a shock to all of us, just as it is for the many others who suffer from this terrible disease. So we created Team MAV (Michael's initials, for those who don't know) and we are so excited to raise funds and walk for the cause at PanCAN Pittsburgh’s PurpleStride on Saturday, April 27, 2024. We'd love to have your support as well...

We want to help make the biggest impact on the lives of all pancreatic cancer patients – and we need your help to do that!

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one-way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services. 

The incredible strides made towards new and improved treatment options for pancreatic cancer is the reason Michael is here and thriving today. We feel so blessed and grateful for all the love and support given to us over the past few months - so what better way to pay it forward? Let's help Michael and others facing pancreatic cancer by supporting the research and science that will continue to save lives!

We’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make – and would appreciate if you are able to help us get there! No donation to this wonderful cause is too small. PanCAN PurpleStride is for everyone, and we’d love for you to join our team through (we'd be happy to see you at the walk on April 27th - but not required)
