Welcome to Our PanCAN for Ann PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!

I am reaching out to you with a heart full of hope and determination as my mom, Ann Luckoski, continues her courageous battle against pancreatic cancer. On her behalf, our team, Hearts in Spades, wants to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need you to do it!

About a year ago, my mom received the devastating diagnosis, but she has been facing this challenge head-on, with incredible strength and resilience. Despite the odds, she has been fighting like a champ, undergoing chemotherapy treatments and radiation with unwavering determination. Her tumor, though inoperable, has responded remarkably well to treatment, shrinking significantly and giving us all a glimmer of hope.

We've named our team "Hearts in Spades" as a nod to my mom's love for playing cards (especially Euchre) and as a testament to the immense amount of heart she puts into everything she does. She is truly a force to be reckoned with, a shining example of strength, grace, and resilience.

We’re taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
