Its that time of year again.  The PANCAN Purplestride Walk is on April 29,2023! This annual event is a great way to make an impact on fighting this disease! It is also a wonderful day to honor and remember all the loved ones that we have lost and those that are sick! This is our 6th year fundraising for PANCAN and over the period that we have been involved, we have seen the survival rate increase from 6% to 12%.  It is still too low, but it is the step in the right direction!  We appreciate everyone's support over the last few years, please join us again to make this Nationwide effort the best of the best!.

I will never forget the first day, we walked into Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center to meet my sister's doctor, Dr. Eileen O'Reilly.  Dr.O'Reilly told us day one that in 2014 there was NO CURE, but it is treatable.  Dr. O'Reilly and staff went above and beyond.   I promised my older sister, Lauren,  that I would fight to find a CURE!  Every year I hear of more friends who have a relative or good friend that has been diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer.  I have become a resource of information for many.  I am also able to connect them to the Pancan affiliate in their area.  More importantly, I can share my experience as a care giver and sibling who lost someone to Pancreatic cancer.  

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers.. The disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination. My family is very dedicated to finding a CURE to stop this horrible disease!  We would love for you to join us for the Nationwide Walk on April 29,2023!  If you cannot walk with us that day, please think of donating to help us find a CURE.  Even though we were not able to help my sister, our goal is to help others that are sick now and in the future!
