Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. However there has been over a 100% increase in the survival rate in the last 5 years.  Our father was diagnosed with this horrific disease in Oct. 2017.  He was strong and determined to not only battle this disease but beat this disease! Unfortunately he only had the opportunity to participate in the the 2018 Purple Stride walk.  He remained strong for 16 months.  In Jan 2019, he developed a bowel obstruction as a result of the metastatic disease.  This complication eventually caused him to earn his angel wings Feb. 13th 2019.  During his last days on earth we, his family, vowed to not let his fight die with him.

Our team has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?

Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival rates.

Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today. Strong He Stood, Together We Fight!  Pat Shotwell's Faith over Fear - Finishing His Fight!
