 Dearest Friends and Family,

Since my diagnosis of Adenocarcinoma of the Pancreatic Duct in November of 2021, I have fought the fight of cancer through chemotherapy, radiation therapy and the Whipple surgical procedure in December of 2022.  Working closely with Yale Smilow Cancer Center and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, I remained cancer free for 19 months! Unfortunately, Pancreatic cancer has reared its ugly head again, but being with the right teams and close monitoring it was detected very early.  I am presently going through chemotherapy once again and looking at clinical trials that are available to anyone with this disease.

I am sharing this with you not to seek sympathy, but to make everyone aware that quick and informative action is key to attacking this beast head on. Since I have been diagnosed almost 3 years ago, key research and trials have made leaps and bounds against this silent killer with FDA approval of many new drugs and procedures to be released very soon.
