A note from our captain, Shannon:

My mom, Terry, was diagnosed in January of 2020 with pancreatic cancer and bravely endured treatment for a little over two years until we had to say goodbye on March 13, 2022.

We are still trying to figure out life without her; she was my brother's and my biggest supporter and one of our absolute favorite people in the whole world. She was also the absolute best Nana, a beloved sister and cherished friend.

This walk and fundraiser is one small step to honor her memory and make meaning of her death.  

Resources and research this walk fund will help families like mine who have to hear this devastating diagnosis, and hopefully prevent others from experiencing it.
