As I sit here putting together our team for our 2nd pancreatic cancer walk, I can't help but think how has it been a little over a year since I've heard Dad's voice, his laugh or his request for a 1/2 bushel of crabs. While these "waves of grief" will always be there, I can't help but to feel lucky that I have these moments to reflect on, those memories that will stay with me forever.

Yes while I will forever miss my Dad, I also can't help but to think about those that are just hearing those life altering words...... you have Pancreatic Cancer. Then comes the treatment plans, Whipple procedure, chemo, radiation, follow up scans, stronger chemo and then the recommendations for Hospice.

My goal:

If my steps, my donation, my voice can help one person, one family from having to go through what Dad did, then I know I kept my promise to Dad. To be #Joswicktough.
