Friends and Family of Oliver Law Office of Columbus and Dublin, Ohio, are taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need your help to do that!

 In 2013, Jami and her sister began fundraising for Pancreatic cancer.  Year after year they stepped up, raising more and more money, traveling to Washington DC to advocate for funding before Congress, and talking to groups about early detection. The family had already lost their Mom in 2009 to pancreatic cancer, as well as their grandmother and uncle, so Jami and her sister started getting genetic testing and annual scans.

Joetta McPherson died on December 21, 2022, just days after her 59th birthday. Jami lost her best friend and sister, and her fourth family member to pancreatic cancer.

PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.
