Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Welcome to My PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!

Our team is walking this year to raise money in honor of both Gerald and Ginny.

My husband Gerald Lehr was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in July of 2016.  He fought valiantly for 3 years and 9 months going through over 46 rounds of chemo, radiation, a whipple surgery, too numerous blood transfusions to count, and other cancer related surgeries.  He passed away on March 29, 2020.
Our family misses him dearly and we will not stop his fight, so we continue to raise awareness for him and for others that have lost their fight and are still fighting.

Recently my dear cousin Ginny was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer and she passed away just 10 short days after diagnosis.   Our fundraising goals are to help raise awareness and fund research that will find early detection for this disease as there currently is no standard early detection test!

Ultimately we hope our fundraising efforts will aid in research so that there will be more effective treatments available and someday a cure for this disease.  We pray no other families will have to go through what our family's did with Gerald and Ginny.

Please join us in fighting for all those who have been affected by Pancreatic Cancer!
