In August 2005, our mother was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The oncologist gave her four months to live but we were all determined to fight this. Despite chemotherapy treatments and getting our mother the best care possible, a little over three months later, she was gone. We, our family members, and friends were left to grieve and deal with the gaping hole left with her passing. Pancreatic cancer had robbed us of a wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend!

Once again, our family is walking to remember our mother and grandmother, Martha Hill, and taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need your help to do that!

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.
