Welcome to Our PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!

Our mother, Laila, was truly exceptional. She lived her life with unwavering faith, courage, and kindness. After being diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in April 2022, she continued to inspire us, guiding our family through this challenging time and embodying the kind of woman we aspire to be.

Our mother left us in August 2023, yet even in her final moments, she taught us that life is about cherishing moments, and that love and faith are always our guiding lights.

We are raising funds for the PanCAN PurpleStride walk to support research into new treatments for pancreatic cancer.

We deeply appreciate any support you can provide to help patients and their families on this journey. We know our mother would have done the same.

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
