I first met Cherie in the fall of 1992 at the Rochester Institute of Technology. From the very start, it was clear just how extraordinary she was. Cherie had a brilliance that was rare, effortlessly excelling at everything she set her mind to. She reached for the stars, literally, achieving her dreams by working with NASA and inspiring others to look up and beyond.

Cherie had a unique way of motivating me to be my best self. Her example has stayed with me, and I want to honor her legacy by moving forward and helping others do the same.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, we’ll be joining the PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer. Each step will be a tribute to Cherie and all she stood for.
