We are walking to honor the memory of our wonderful mom, Sigrid Ordway, who passed away in October 2024, just 11 months after diagnosis. 

Our mom endured 14 chemotherapy treatments, a Whipple surgery, countless scans/blood work, and did everything imaginable to treat this disease. She faced every setback with courage and strength and never let her disease define her. 

We’re taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.
