We Stride In Loving Memory and In Honor
of a good man, Russell Paul Roseberry
Russell Roseberry was one of the good guys who worked hard, gratefully enjoyed his beautiful life, and truly treasured his family and friends. He enjoyed discovering art and music from such an eclectic range of sources. He appreciated the beauty and power of nature and, once retired, loved traveling to explore new favorite places and taking road trips with his wife, Judy. Russell had a warm smile with just the right amount of mischief behind it. Favoring a quick wit and a good joke, he had a great laugh. He also told a story like only he could. We love him and miss everything about him every single day.
Russell was diagnosed on April 1, 2010, with locally advanced pancreatic cancer. He battled that determined disease the best he knew how for 13 months. As the Chief of Russell's Warriors, he walked across the finish line of PurpleStride 2010. And he was equally as proud of that personal goal as he was for his team being recognized as one of the top fundraising teams that year. Between all of that and "the best chicken sandwiches," it was a good day and a forever memory.
Thank you for your continued support of Russell's Warriors and Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Together we are making a difference in this disease for all those warriors continuing to battle every day!
