Welcome to Our PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page in memory of Melody Mary Grissom Tyrell!

As you may know, our dear sister Melody passed away after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer on October,2nd 2023.

Diagnosed only four months prior with stage 4, she had not exhibited any symptoms until it spread throughout her body.

We, her sisters and other loved one's family and friends, have since been on a quest to learn all we can about this disease in the hopes others will benefit from any and all we can offer them.

Our team wants to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and their families and we need you to do it!

We’re taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26th, 2025

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

We’ve set a modest fundraising goal and would be profoundly grateful for your donation. A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
