Welcome to TEAM POSITIVE VIBES ONLY!
OUR STORY:
Cecilia DePippo....There will never be enough words to describe my love and admiration for my mom. She was my hero, my mentor, my best friend and all around favorite person. Mom lived life fearlessly and fought Pancreatic Cancer like a true warrior. She didn't lose her battle to cancer, she won. She taught us all how to live presently in each moment of each day and that in fact, WE CAN DO HARD THINGS. She was the absolute strongest human being I have ever known and I am beyond blessed to have had her as my mother. If I can be half the person she was, I know I would of succeeded!
This year let's not only walk in her honor and celebrate the inspirational and incredible human being Cecilia was but let's raise funds and awareness so nobody else has to experience this terrible disease. We ask that everyone commits to at least the $50 minimum donation to help us wage hope!
"If you don't like the way the world is, you can change it. You have an obligation to change it. You just do it one step at a time"
Remember - we can do hard things! For Mom, For Grandma, For Cecilia!!! Our FOREVER Warrior Queen!
In January of 2021 my mom, my hero, Cecilia, was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Devastated and overwhelmed by this news, we immediately took action and adopted POSITIVE VIBES ONLY. Despite the unknowns throughout the process we have continued to take every test, scan, as one step at a time and live each day to the absolute fullest with positivity. After 1 aborted whipple procedure surgery, 12 rounds of the toughest chemotherapy, 5 bouts of radiation, and a successful whipple procedure surgery to remove her tumor in January 2022. Unfortunately, in January of 2023, the cancer returned to the surgical site and on June 29th, 2023 Cecilia passed away. While all of our hearts broke that day and continue to break navigating life without her, Mom was the epitome of strength and resilience and the definition of a true fighter.
