We’re walking this year in loving memory of my dad, who passed away from pancreatic cancer on January 16, 2024. He was my everything. This journey is personal for my family, and our hope is to make a real difference for others facing this battle, to give more time to patients and their loved ones. The average life expectancy is 3-5 years. 

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, we’ll be joining PanCAN PurpleStride, walking with others who’ve been affected by this illness. It’s a way for us to remember, honor, and help, as PurpleStride raises funds to support essential research, new treatments, and personalized support for patients and families, in hopefully giving them more times together 

We’ve set a fundraising goal that feels right to honor my dad’s memory. Every donation, big or small, will help give families like ours a chance to fight back.
